The U.S.Health Care is broken..We at the Lerman Report have come up with the solution.

The Affordable Health  Care Act even with the Republican revision is nowhere near the solution.The solution is a very simple in order to rectify this mess we call  Health Care in  America.

 A while back My father received a bill from an unknown Doctor for $500.  “Who are you”?  He replied to this Doctor-and went on to say I never went to you” This Doctor said your absolutely right you never saw me before ..but  remember last year when you were at the E.R.at your local hospital complaining  of chest pains and took & they took an EKG?.  Well I have a contract with that hospital for a  2nd opinion on interpretation  of those  EKG’S.  My father said first of all I never contracted you. & 2nd this is a year later and had the EKG showed any heart irregularity  they wouldn’t have release me.

  The Doctor got loud “He turned his fraudulent scheme  around and said “because of  people like you is the reason why our  health care is so expensive’. Another Doctor sends him a bill  for “In Office Surgery $600. What surgery my father  inquired The Office manager replied back “we pricked your finger for a drop of blood”.

Our plan is a simple one. Every Doctor will work for the Federal Government.. They will wear a uniform just like The Surgeon General. They will have a ranking and pay system just like as if they were Medical Officers in our Military with the exclusive difference is they can quit at anytime.. however if they decide to quit they will be permanently barred from practicing medicine or any of its related  fields anywhere within the U.S and it’s Territories.

Let them all wave goodbye to that big Mercedes Benz along with the Sprawling Multi Million Dollar Homes that they now enjoy..Trust us they will never starve they will make decent living..This will weed out for a lack of a better term ‘The Bums in our medical system.

All these urgent care facility’s can be taken over under imminent domain or fresh new facilities can be opened up.  We need dedication back in our health care field..More Marcus Welby and Ben Casey type Doctors as in years past .We are sure that The general public is in total agreement with us.

    The American economy is 100% Dependant on Oil .Believe it or not Oil runs our economy.  When Gasoline prices rose nearly $5.00 a gallon it nearly crippled the economy.  All prices took a price hike…after all product from your grocer to your favorite haberdasher shelves don’t get there byosmosis but by truckin & trucks Gasoline or Diese Fuel .

Having said all this the Auto Industry is paramount in our society. Years Ago when a car cost  anywhere from $3,000 -12,000 you could save up for a car in a few years.. today its virtually impossible to do that..  Today a car may run you  as much as $30,000 and that basically for the entry-level vehicle not an Infinity ..Lexus or Caddy.   Every year car prices increace. By the time that you sock away money  to purchase a car it cost more & Your money buys less.  Leasing is the only way that he vast majority can not buy a new car.At one time if weren’t a  business they wouldn’t lease to you..not the situation tiday .For a mere down payment you can  lease a car for as little as $170.00 per month.

Having said that the average American no longer has  neither the  salary or bank account with over $30,000 minimum to take out and buy a car.. Without Leasing  the Oil sales disappear and our economy  takes a dive and business’ takes spiral plunge downward…

  If nearly all of the restaurants today opened up shop 45 years ago with their recipes and menu that they have today ..They would have been tar and feathered a run out-of-town immediately.  Each generation knows less and less about good home cooking and what a good restaurant supposed to be.

The Old  Pre WWI Era Grandmothers who came here from Europe having no education and knew nothing but cooking baking and knitting no longer exsits. Jewish people used  to refer to them as the Balabusta (The Perfect Housewife).  Each new generation knows less about cooking as they attend school and nothing of  culinary value is passed down to the next generation.

The restaurants are no different. We’ll give you a classic example of what goes on today..A former retail businessman(dry cleaner) goes to a real estate agent looking for another dry cleaner shop to buy.The agent says”How about an Italian  or Jewish restaurant? The man replies back to the real estate agent “Hey I  don”t know how to cook or I never neither tastes or cooked that particular Ethnic Cuisine”.The Agent relies back”You don’t have to know how to cook that style cooking ..The place currently has a good cook”…Yes he draws a big $alary ..Just watch what he does in the kitchen and in 6 months when you are familiar with the recipes then get rid of him & either hire a lower salaried chef or do the cooking yourself .Many take those real estate agents advice..buy the joint & in just  months the place falls apart as he doesn’t know is ass from his elbow in the kitchen…

Bottom line if you don’t know how to cook or never had great familiarization in a particular Ethic Style….then you no business whatsoever owning a  restaurant.

I always see people dinning eating with the Vim and Vigor along with great Gusto. If they would leave their food on the plate uneaten maybe the owner would say “Hey maybe I need either new recipes or a new chief “….but when the customers clean their plates..they are not going to change.

The fast food eateries are worse not only is the menu way over priced but their ware is substandard.The days of great home cooking and fantastic restaurants have sailed way a long time ago. Sad to say the public doesn’t care one bit.

The Suffering Patient

 Todays Doctors are reluctant and down right refusing ro prescribe pain pills to their suffering patients.The abuse my many unscrupulous Doctors who handed out Scripts like candy has ruined it foreveryone..If they  don’t want to prescribe them then take them off the market.

There is absolutely nothing wrong for a Doctor  to  give a patient  in pain something to  lessen their suffering.We are sure that their hands are being tied by some government oversight agency. People tell us they beg their Doctor to give them a pain  a proscription if only for a 3 day supply…..or put then in the hospital as their in Patient…All this falls on Deaf Ears. We recently was told that when a suffering patient was asked do they drink..their responce was “no but I’m thinking of taking it up”.

Perhaps in order to pick up a pain prescriptions it should be picked up at their local Police Department precinct and not at your local Pharmacy.New guidlines must be drawn up to once again to allow Doctors to prescribe them to  their patients in pain.Why should every patient suffer because of a few irresponsible Doctors ?

      How did all these Marijuana growers  get away with growing their stock before the Law was passed?   Marijuana has  now become available along with all strains of growth in great supply in every state where the laws were changed..

We are talking about hundreds of different varieties instantly available along with brand names and pet names for each strain.How was all this growing  allowed while it was still pending legislation? Keep in mind that it took several months to grow process this crop.They apparenty were in violation of the law right from the get go when they planted the very first seed..

It”s beyond the government looking the other way with wink and a nod. Who and where are these Pot growers from?…  If it was done secretly in basement then the high electric bills from bills from ultra violet lights would have set up a red flag.

However it appears this present for sale stock was either grown in the open in fields and green house in plain view for all to see. It’s all local grown.If by any chance that you’re wondering perhaps it was not grown locally but imported where it didn’t have to pass muster in keeping within the parameters of our laws…The answer is NO it’s all domesticity grown Weed.All though there is grey area if it was shipped in from states where the Laws  effecting Marijuana were passed before.

We are not here to pass judgement on the wisdom  of Smoking Pot or to take a stand siding either with the Pro’s or Con’s of Legalizing Pot..However we remain  baffled as who allowed this occur.

The Marijuana stores almost seem to open up instantly by passing any governmental restrictions such as visits from the Board of Health ,Weights and Measures,U.S.D.A..or Building code Inforcement.Perhaps not in all jurisdictions ..but it ‘s happening in many Municipalities across the country. We are scratching our heads in puzzlement at all his instant Sale of Pot right after any favorable legislation and find it all suspect…What about you?

   Take notice the next time that you dine out..Restaurants look to fool you with Diamond shaped plates and  Speaker or Sea Shell Shaped Soup or Salad Bowls.While we except some sort of  price increase now and then..As far as we are concerned this practice has got to go.What these Eateries are intending to do is give an optical illusion of more food on the plate and in the Bowls when  they bring it over to the table.Guess what Restaurants? It doesn’t work ..You may think that your pulling the wool over your patrons eye’s but your fooling nobody but your self.Yes it looks pretty and modern…However the customer figures it out very quickly as they exit your place as hungry as when they entered.Someone once told me”That you can only screw him once”.As the old expression goes fool me once shame on you..but fool me twice shame on me.For Heaven’s sake just bring back the old plates and Bowls and just raise your prices a bit.

If you want to keep your Restaurant going than this deception must stop.

Have the immigrants assigned a to live in for city for  a period of 6 years and  each and every immigrant must go to an INS office once a week including their Family members to be Fingerprinted as to verify that they didn’t relocate to another city. When the 6 years are up they can pick up and relacate anywhere in the U.S.A. and its territories…if they violate the agreement, very simple….DEPORTATION !. End
