Bridge Over Troubled WaterLight Orchid

I was unlucky enough to drive on the George Washington Bridge, It took me 2 hrs to cross he bridge in day light hours, as they closed a lane…I almost thought perhaps Chris  Chrissty may hve been there (lol) ..he wasn’t , just joking ! And drove on the Varrazanno Narrows Taking me A 1/2 to cross at 220pm. Why thet keep theses bridges open is stickly for revenue, someone old me it all or a major portion goes to support Mass transit..well let mass transit riders foot gthat bill, the driving public pays dearly to own and operate and maintance a car. and they should’nt be burdoned with thesestolls any longer.
My solution is to imposes a levy when you resister your car of an extra $5,00 per person per car to cover to bridge and tunnels in N.Y. – N.J…..BUt they proberly will never do that ..theses bridges are a big cash cow  , and nobody not the public that is knows exactly how much money that they rake in daily while they rake us over the hOt coals ../end

Raise Minimum Wage To $20 an Hour for full time Workers & $15 An Hour For part-time Workers

Al Jolson – Brother can you spare a dime

The Minimum Wage has got to be increased so people can get closer to a living wage. Certain rules must be in effect such as if an employer has more than 25 full time workers salaries should be at a minimum of $20  an hour  ,part time and after school workers can and should be  paid less, manufacturers distributors and  employers of white collar office jobs just have to earn less profit , it will be  a drop in the bucket for employers who have 25 or more workers-full time .If a boss tries to circumvent the law by only giving workers 381/2 hours to avoid  increase in benefits and minimum salaries they should be heavily fined.

     *   Isn’t a shame that people have to make a living wage ? Can you pay your bills on less than $15 an hour and maintain and insure and gas up a Car and have your own apartment on $20  an hour .perhaps not but that should  be the entry level salary for all..especially in a metro N.Y.C. job market /END

Municipalities must get Rid of Red Light And Speed Camera’s. If the County Executives or Mayors can’t balance the budget let them  lay off some  wasteful civil servants and cut the pork , patronage jobs, contracts without lowest bids, cut pensions on civil service and just don’t give away the store period, do not make Mr. and Ms. Public pay for their ineptness when it come to balancing the budget. That’ s not what we should have law enforcement for.end

Another reassessment of property tax on the way …Does anyone think your taxes will go down and be less..It will most properly rise and be an un equable increase  for sure . If it does go up , there will be middle  class flight , senors going down south to low tax states such as Florida and the Carolina s & college educated  leaving in droves ..the only one staying are the unskilled workers who are stuck at local industry and can’t afford to take a chance that they can find work for the same salary rage  elsewhere

What we will have is higher taxes and lower property values .resale that can be snatched sup at fire-sale prices for those getting a resale so cheap the  higher taxes doesn’t bother them…..Send a message to your politicians .vote all incumbents out of office regardless of party affiliation ../end
