And don’t tell me tnhat they aren’t aware of various religious holidays , that they were going tO shut if the electric in Great Neck in one of the largest JEWISH Community IN the Nassau county on Passover WHEN IT IS A SEDER COOKED MEAL AND WEEK LONG CELEBRATION. pscng IS NOT IN THE RATEPAYERS INTEREST/END

The LIPA boars has got to be replaced and any raise in rates ,pension issue be put up on a referendum at the ballot box, Long Island pays among the highest electric rates in the nation.. where is the long Island state senators on this matter ? The governor should step in immediately and stop pscng from any and all raises and rate hikes now

Long Island ratepayers have already gotten 3 raises ,what they are doing is raising the price of delivering the electric , a way of circumventing the law by the not given any raises for five year moratorium, now they want to continue to charge the ratepayer for a loan that was paid off to fund other projects It s high time that a governor Cuomo rethink the deal with pscng ,which was supposed to be the messiah of electric companies that was to be the deliverer of cheap power that the ratepayers can tolerate , dump pscng now !!
FORMER MAYOR DE Blasio had it right .. get rid of Horse Drawn carriages IN CENTRAL PARK. IT IS ANIMAL Curilty At it’s BEST. Someone ONCE TOLD ME THAT POLICE DEPARTMENT MOUNTED POLICE HORSES RETIRE ON FARMS .. HOW UNTRUE. the police dept.s do not own or operate farms and the cost IS nearly $20,000 a year to maintenance a horse. THE RETIRED former police dept.mounted police horses wind up being shipped out of the country .They most likely will pull a cart and work hard till the day that they die.Most likely they will be transported yo other countries work if they are lucky perhaps a a horse riding academy for the rest of their lives .. how sad and besides did you ever go into tavern on the Green? You could get sick from the horse droppings right before your meal as you smell the stench as you enter their restaurant. that’s besides the point .It’s just down right cruel to the horses …end of story.

I know when my house was accesed at $580-$610,000 My taxes were high now that the homes are worth only $380,00 to $440,00 we still pay the same amount, and thats not fair or right at all . Lets the tax accesIng be in the county’s hands don’t put it in the township control Plain simple/end

Once again LIPA gest a big rate increase .. 4%, as the utilities and taxes go up the middle class escapes to the Carolina ‘s and Florida and Arizona and other warm low tax states . and homes can be snatched up at fire-sale type price buying up homes on Long Island making devoid of a strong middle class. How could the state let this happen ? where is the over sight from state public service commision? To make matters worse it hits us right in the peak electrical season summer months . Steve Bellone find a way of guaranteeing that the People who are patients living at the Foley Skilled Nursing Home can live out their live their with dignity, do not put a price tag on Human life , these are people down on thier luck sick and old , we will all get there some day , what ever deal is made with private concerns these people must stay and live out their lives there,they shouldn’t be transferred to a hell hole such as many places that we all know exists. /end
It’s high time to Ban all Horse drawn wagons and carts, Coaches and Horseback riding Academies, it down right cruel to the horses.
I often read that mounted police units that the horses retire to pasture and live out a good life, not so it cost nearly $20,000 a year to up keep and maintenance a horse .Let us clue everyone in.. No farmer or rancher is taking on this massive financial responsibly
What they do is take the horses and sell them to a riding academy to or pull a coach as in central park or in another country to pull a cart.
Let it be known just like the race track stock police horses also will work hard to the day they die .. a very dismal existence so don’t go to a dude ranch, don’t take that coach ride in central park, how would you like to work to the at the day that you die?
