            L.I. Along with N.Y.C. Pays the Lions Share of all  N.Y State Tax Revenue, that also goes for all lotto sales too. While New York City gets everything on their wish list from the State, Long Island ( Nassau & Suffolk County) remains the step child of the state..Governor Cosmo got L. I. the worlds worst Utility company PSC&G. While Long Islanders were assured that their rates would not be raised in 3 years in the first 5 months correct us if we’re mistaken but PSC&G passed along 6 raises.  Governor Coumo put a cap on school tax.. nearly every school busted the cap. Now he proposing from what we gather to  perhaps consolidate school districts to lower property tax.. That will kill the  high resale value of our homes. Thats not the solution.. The solution is to get rid of all these high priced Administrators.. The School Superintendents and  all their leaching cronies. Next get rid of Tenure. What we gave a bunch of high salaried burnt out teachers that can’t be fired. 

What we have is a crazy set of protocol when it comes to a school tax hike vote.. If it fails.. It is brought up again for a another vote in 60  days..If  its voted  down once more for approval your taxes still go up.. But after school programs such as sports and music are cut meanwhile all the  the Administrators and Teachers remain above the fray.. Their salaries and perks are not touched one ioda.

The school district heads will always try to bust any  future cap.. You can bet you house on that. What the Governor should do when they propose to bust any cap is immediately have the Administrators arrested. That will send a clear & resounding message that this will no longer be tolerated. This is what Nasssua  and Suffolk Counties needs.. As it stands now the school system is  not really there  to educate the students but strictly as a  vehicle for employess to make a living. Many of us l old timers remember back in the 1950″s when  teachers told students that sanitation  workers make as much as them  (that should have been brought up to the Mayor not the grade school  students) . . With all the holidays and winter and Holiday recess the teachers  accually only  work 6 months a year.. We Don’t feel sorry for them. Our heart goes out for the students and Mr. & Mrs. Taxpayer. /the final complaint on Governor Court is  that you had a great heart when you were  the New York State Attorney General but why did your cuts have to  include the Developmental Disabled  was that neccesary ? Look we all know that deep down  Coumos a decent guy and its no secret that he has perhaps future Presidental assperations ..but  let him do the right thing by Long Island  first/end

      Stop the fare hike on the L.I.R.R. What is Long Island getting from the State of New York..along with New York hefty fair increase  on the Rail Road a few years ago ?  Anwser….Nothing…  Now they want more.. . .What in God’s name is going on ? The MTA is out of line big time.. The L.I.R.R is the lifeline for the suburban commuter If anything TheRail Road should recieve a subsidy  not an increase from the MTA.

Nassau and Suffolk County alongs with N.Y.C. pays practicaly everything into the State Coffers from The bulk of the Taxes to  The Lotto  Revenue …While N.Y.C  gets  whatever it wants & asks for from the State …Nassau and Suffolk County remains the Step Child of New York State . Is there no end to this nightmare of increases?  Governor Coumo along with getting Long Islanders PSC&G as our Power Supplier which is raking  the ratepayers unmercifully over the hot coals he is not doing enough to end the stop increase in Long island School taxes…Why should Nassau and Suffolk voters even think of supporting him if he ever has assperations  to run for national office ?

Politicians  have given away the store.

This time they have sold out the future of Long Island for the Next two generations. To grant a tax break to the local mall developer at Green Acres on the backs of home owners  is nothing short of outrageous. Now all the politicians are all against it… where were they hiding when  this tax break was passed. A minium of $750 per year hike in property taxes and as much as $1,000-$1,500 per year. I say give the developers nothing but the old proverbial kick in the pants.

The public demands to know were the developers big campaign contributors? What do you think?

A Forensic bank search is in order.Was any money stock or anything of value passed  to either T.O.H elected  or  appointed  officials or any of their family members in the last 4 years.

That will definitely show up on any paper trail investigation.It doesn’t make  any sense why something of this nature and magnitude would even be give any thought whatsoever. You don’t have to have be nuclear  physicist to think and say

               “Hey what’s going on? “.

UNELECTED OFFICIALS  rushed this tax break through under the cover of darkness so to speak without any well advertised Town Hall Meeting whatsoever. You mean to tell me that our elected officials knew nothing?

Something of this magnitude had to pass muster with the higher up Elected Officials. Hempstead Town Supervisor Anthony Santino along with other elected higher ups claimed that they were not in the loop and are feigning ignorance saying that the first time that they knew anything about this was when they saw it on the 6 O’clock T.V.News.We don’t buy it for one second.

Now these same elected officials are saying that they are contemplating  rescinding on this deal and are putting it on hold.A Judge put a temporary stop gap measure on this deal.

Believe us why can’t they decide this immediately if they  really wanted to.

We all know the routine..It’s just a big stall tactic just to creating a public cooling off period so that their anger is subdued.

In a few months BOOM tax increase!

 I say do not ever vote for any incumbent official from the Town of  Hempstead that were serving while this travesty passed into law .

N.Y.C .Tenant Court is way tilted in favor of the deadbeat Tenant make no mistake about it. A tenant can stop paying rent for any reason whatsoever even if doesn’t involve Landlord neglect or malfeasance and the courts will always tilt in the tenants favor..

We personally know of an owner of a two family house, he bought a 2 family house as opposed to a single family home to help him pay the mortgage. Well the tenant was a good tenant on good term with his landlord which lived in the upstairs section …then the tenant had some sort of brainstorm as to make his rental apartment a condo..”That’s out of the question the said the Honeowner”.The tenant then stopped paying any further rent. The landlord then shut off the electric..the tenant went the police & filed a, complaint..The police told the landlord he can’t do that as the tenant has kids & he must keep the electric on. Every time that they went to court the tenant received an extension to further stay at the apartment rent free.The landlord argues that he has a mortgage obligation . .doesn’t matter it always falls on deaf ears.

It’s high time that the Landlord is considered over the deadbeat Tenant.These Deadbeats know exactly what they’re doing .What the Deadbeat tenants are doing is Paramount to a Grifter scam. They do this all the time after this poor soul of a landlord gets taken they will move on & rent another place & do the something to the new Landlord.

The courts never learn.. We could go on & tell you case after case mirroring the above situation that we just described.

A footnote to this injustice by the Landlor-Tenant Court..The Deadbeat Tenant stayed Rent and Electric Free for 3 years before the homeowner was able to have him evicted by order of the Court..The Homeowner was never compensated for his losses.

  The Nassau County Taxpayer  pays amoung the highest taxes in the nation…The taxpayer would like no services cut instead start handing out pink slips to all those unneccesary workers who maintain political patronage  jobs.. The county work force is employee heavy at the taxpayer exspence.  When ever You receive a telephone call at election time and the caller urges you to go out and vote..that caller is a party member and is looking to either move up at his county job or get a better one thats all nothing more .and no mistake about it its not in your interst only the callers.

  A lot of uneccsary waste can and should be cut like all those free to the public concerts at  certain  parks.. the proformers   that the county   books  are old has beens” Cadavers of the entertainment field”cut them out not bus service.  Many low wage worker cannot aford a car and use buses. Please don’t  penelize the working poor buy cutting bus services..Just how are they to get to work ? Theres a lot of feather betting jobs on the payroll ..hand them pink slips.. 40 years ago when interest rate was 18%   civil service pensions were recouped in 3 years today at 1% its never recouped . A worker can start working  for thecounty at 18 work 20 for years and  recieve their pension and live on  & collect for 50 years ,,solution  no pensions for new employess/plus no double dipping,if you retire from one county job make sure that that same indivisial doesn’t start working  at another county job.

 Why should the taxpayer  pay for the years of inept mismagement by the county ?

Town of Hempstead Presiding Supervisor Anthony Santino has issued a ruling that clean engine cars will get a priority parking spot at certain L.I.R.R Parking lots..What a bunch of B.S..While the Town of Hempstead unelected board just gave away the store with this Green Acres Mall Developers on Valley Stream,it appears that this crap is nothing more than damage control.

While  Homeowners have grown old and gray  waiting for new Sidewalks ,Aprons and Curbs this is the P.R.crap we have to hear. Does it make any sense that if can afford a $35,000 new clean car you  will received preferential  treatment at R.R. parking lots but if your  amoung the working poor & only  afford an old clunker..”to bad  so sad “

The mailings from the T.O.H officials cost a small fortune to send out with the P.O. this  just  a total waste of taxpayers hard earned money.The Town  has to take  long hard look and reassess itself  .

We want closure and accountability on this Green Acres Mall Developers  tax give away..We want updated roads and  more scrutiny on contacts to those who received  contracts to service  the Town..And we want it now !
