Where Did The Money Come From For Past Government Projects?

Years ago the Government built and they built on a grand Scale , Bridges Tunnels highways in the 1930’s and before But did anyone ever stop to think , where did they get the money for these grand projects, surely not taxes -, there was  was no income tax and property tax is strictly county deal , so where did they get the cash from , did they ( the  Government ) print up extra cash? seems so  where did they get the money for WW2 all but a few men where  at home  the rest was where away at war , where  was the tax base ,  ever  wonder?

The European Union says that Jerusalem the capital of Israel should be on the table.What Chutzpah! ..Well how would they fell if their capital was the subject of the chopping block?
Keep on mind “Whats good for the Goose is good for the Gander” So listen up..There are many synagogues in London…Rome and Paris that in no way gives Jews or Israel  claim or title to those cities? Those cities even though have Jewish synagogues the  city’s belong strictly to their country’s that they are in .In essence though Jerusalem has many other religions houses of worship there….Sorry that does in no way give any other nation a foothold to plant their flag there..

A morbidly obese man shed half his body weight in 16 months – and left his mates £10,000 out of pocket.

Junk food-loving Peter Ajello had ballooned to 203kg (32st) by bingeing on burgers, pancakes and pizza.
His initial weight loss of 22kg in a month was so astounding his closest friends bet him he wouldn’t lose double that in five months.
As the pounds kept falling off, they even tried to sabotage his slimming regime by having chicken wings and pizzas sent to his house every night.
But Mr Ajello refused to crack and came in even lighter than the target weight to collect his wedge of cash.
‘I don’t think they thought I could do it, but I was determined to prove them wrong,’ said Mr Ajello, of Florida.
‘I was known as the guy who could eat and eat. In college, my friends would set me eating challenges – it made me feel popular.’
The diet, combined with pounding a treadmill in his basement, saved his life after he suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with diabetes.
He cut out all junk food and alcohol but allowed himself the occasional square of chocolate to satisfy his sweet cravings.
Today he weighs in at a svelte 88kg (14st). ‘It was tough, but I kept rewarding myself with bits of chocolate and the fat melted away,’ he said.
The money he won from his mates helped him to pay for a £6,000 operation to remove a huge fold of excess skin from his belly that was left after his extreme dieting.

Municipalities Should Start Phasing Out Libraries

Who needs a  Public library today when nearly everyone has access to a computer? Municipalities spend a fortune to stock and maintain the present libraries.  There is no longer a need for ” Brick and Mortar Buildings serving as libraries”  when we have computers at our fingertips …

Municipalities Should Start Shutting down all of the libraries now, its a waste of taxpayer money. All over the nation there are more employees than patrons.
What we  are doing is maintaining fully staffed Libraries  for  apartment dwellers & Room renters  that must be out of there place during the  day  usually by order of there landlord, In other words these people don’t work and hang out at Numerous Branches and use the computers all day& enjoy the Air conditioning in warm weather days , With home computers who needs a library today only these people mentioned  above …

Nationwide Utilities Raise Rates For Winter

Now that the summer  call for electric has subsided with the upcoming cooler weather Nationwide utilities have began to raise rates  across the country, Home heating fuel will most probably will increase to if we see an increase in diesel fuel at the pumps and a dime a gallon for a winter additive in gasoline prices. This is nothing  but a massive  shakedown by  the utility companies  and big oil, what is means is no hope for a turn around in the economy for along time ..end

Back in 2001and 2002 I sent nearly every food pervision company , every dairy company butter producer and all hot sauce manufactures a 25 page portfolio about myself as a competitive eating champion and the new burgeoning sport.They were all sent returned receipt requested , so I know that they received them , and almost each and every one has stole my idea ‘ my interlectial property” so to speak ,and that’s a shame , give credit where its due , invite me to an event let me be a spokesman ,, but don’t trample on my good will. I made theses portfolios when the sport was new and fresh on the scene , it seems that and I’am not being given any credit for my efforts and thats not right..end

I remember when all restaurants were ”Mom & Pops” that is privately owned and operated. sadly with rents going up the only ones who will be able to afford the high rents are the national chains, how sad.In one way its good I can travel to Oklahoma’ city and walk into an IHop and no what to expect.The overall quality is way down , its the dumbimg down of Americans taste buds. I remember going  into a luncheonette in N.Y. and getting a great hamburger not the crap at they serve in Mcdonalds or Burger king.I would rather take my chances on an unknown eatery than dine at The olive garden. Eventually that’s all that there will be .I always tell stories to my nephew  how great restaurants were in the 50’s , he don’t agree says I don’t know food, well I do I predict in 20 yrs there wont be a Mom&pop Pizzeria or lunch or dinner Establishments , with the exception of Chinese take outs and sit ins ( they seem to have a sort of indentured servants who live with the owners , you and I could never open up a Chinese take out and afford the chefs they can. Home cooking is becoming a lost art, thats another story, but in the future where will people go for a great meal? ..end..Don Lerman
