First off   Let The Stockholders Pay Not The Ratepayers For This   Clean Up. Lipa& National grid is totally incompetent. people on Long Island  are suffering.and NBC’ s  Chris Mathews  said on his show concerning the election ” Thank God For the Storm ”as a pro leaning democrat while broadcasting commentary on NBC, He should be removed  from the NBC  Payroll period  no apology is acceptable, we at The Lerman report urge viewers to boycott his show , let the sponsors do the rest visa vie having him replaced as host.

I personally was without power for a while and stranded in the city Manhattan) for a few days returned to my Long Island  to find  no cable.Cable should replace with FIOS or  Dish T.V.. and while Ia’m at it there is so much red tape with FEMA  its a low down shame  and the Red Cross is not in every locality of the storm where people can get to them  and if this is not a wake up call to nationalize the OIl Companies , nothing is  we will continue to update this fiasco as it unrolls ,Thank you Don Lerman

In America   old age is laughed at ..’Look at the old Geezer or old Hag.Its almost as if we think of the elderly as a separate  species. We make fun of toothless people. I was at a swimming pool when a group of senor citizens were going in the pool and as they all got in the  pool my someone at poolside  yelled look cocoon” as in the movie of the same name reminiscent of the pool Scene when the old people went into the pool to rejuvenate  to become young and healthy again.

     While in Japan Old age is Revered and respected. It was something to look up to.Yes there l is senor discounts and housing at a good price ,..but  that’s  by the  governments not by the individuals.  I remember my grandmother saying when she was 78 yrs old ” I look in the mirror and see an old lady that’s not me”Well we will all grow old and let me tel you this …We will gethere  someday if were lucky.

Yes you read it right  I said Dump Cable  For Fios Or Dish T.V. . It is Unacceptable to have no service  going on 2 weeks ,When  you call Cable expect to be hung up on and disconnected after waiting 45 minutes to get threw. They simply don’t care . I haven’t seen a service truck And by the way I have ”Optimum T.V.” in a 3 mile radius for over a week now , Its not so much my internet and T.V. Its my Land Line  that concerns me primarily.

I know what your thinking how dare I complain when people are stilll without power , its like I used to complain about having no shoes untill I met someone e with no feet , but that still doesn’t negate my Problem . Ladies and Gentleman dump cable for fios or dish this service is unacceptable  because Fios din’t go out where they had power / end

We at The Lerman Report feel that its outrageous for a sports franchise to ask the Municipality to foot the bill for their stadium or coliseum.  You want to own a sports team  don’t buy one unless you can build your own house.  The last thing The people of Nassau county & The Town of Hempstead need is bonds have to be floated  that have to be  payed back at a future date.

 We will miss The Islanders but we don’t have to be  held up in the process, Charles Wang good luck  in your new city. what the Islander fans should do is boycott the rest of the games and cable should drop their contract./end
