Police Dogs … What Happens To THem When They Retire?  With out naming the specific police departments and shelters , I will say this…When a police dog performs in the line of duty they are promoted but when they get to old to work  then they are then surrendered to   dog pounds, some are kill shelters, how sad just like the police horses when can no longer work for the police dept they  wind up in a central park type couch pulling a  cart or at a ridding academy  and work untill the day that they  die for the rest of thier lives..this I know for a fact from reliable sources. end

             When i first saw this info commercial , I could have sworn it was Oliver North as its pitchman.. I wonder if it was deliberately done ? While we are not accusing Humana or its commercial producer of anything not above-board it does strike a rather convincing resemblance to Oliver North .For the record Oliver North did not make this  commercial and it’s not him ..and that all I have to say on about THIS commercial. *Oliver North look-alike left next to humana  sign.

         Last time we had a drop in gasoline prices deisel  fuel & home heating oil didn’t budge one drop and remained high . This time however indicaters say that both will drop along  normal gas prices ,.       Fresh Hamburger Patties go for around 4  for $8.50 on the average ,while a 7 or 8 pack of hot dogs ( non Natural casting averages $4.99 a package),Natural casting averages $5.99 a package,  frozen burger average around $11.99 for 6 burgers .

      You can buy Caroline’ s hot dog sausage  for around  $7.99 for 40 links or you can always get Italian sausage 6 for $3.99 hot or sweet. As far as burger s you can  buy a cheap frozen burger package 16 for $6.99 a mixture of Beef , beef hearts , textured soy , soy floor  sugar and many spices are added to make it taste good ..if you dress the burger with melted cheese or fried onions or pickle and ketchup it still tastes better than you would get at most fast food joints.

      You can buy triple ”R” hot dogs a mixture of mechanical separated  chicken parts turkey pork and beef  for $1.00 a package.or John Morrel’ s for around a buck a pack  also.if your on a budget .
