The Yiddish Accent Still being Made Fun Even After Those with that Accent died off 40 years Ago. Those who spoke English with an Yiddish accent came to America pre World War II for the most part and for TV Commercials To Keep this accent alive is outrageous. Nobody born in this century ever heard  an east European Jew talk. Italian ..German & Irish accents will always be around since the host country still exists with their mother tongue.However Jews do not have that option since the pale of Jewish Yiddish speaking settlement in Eastern Europe no longer exists. To make fun of that accent to day is shear  Jew Hatred and perpetuates a stereo type and  helps keeps  Anti Semitism alive.

I remember my mother and my grandmother had many Mystical Jewish Beliefs if I can term them that way.  For instance if  a house Fly was to get into the house it was a dead relative bearing news that everything upcoming will be alright.

I recall when My grandmother saw two birds perched upon her window sill one was a fat bird  & the other a thin bird the day before her surgery She. went on to say that the fat one was her husband  (my Grandfather) and the thin one was her mother  (my great grandmother) had come from the after world to let her know that everything will be alright.

 My mother would often say that when Fly was in the house that is that my deceased father so don’t  kill  it. As strange as this sounds this was the central Jewish Belief over  a 1/4  century ago .I honestly doubt that it is tought today.

I seem to remember old joke , A rabbi was giving a Eulogy at a funeral the rabbi said loudly” can anyone say anything good about the deceased”? No one replied then the rabbi went on and said ” surely someone can someone say one good thing about the deceased”? & a voice yelled back from the audience”HIS BROTHER WAS WORSE”

As much as I got destaine for Assad & most people would agree that the rebels are worse.Well how about Al Qaeda or Hamas inheriting an Air force.   Whats wrong with this picture As much as they may dislike  the Assad Regime, They have  a worst distain for Israel. Amassing troops on the western Syrian frontier doesn’t look Kosher it seems a smart maneuver to me  as a way to invade The Golan Heights.

The General Appearance Or ”Jewish Look ” concerning Jews in America Is Changing .Let’s say from Jews Born lets say in the 1920’s vs.Jews born in The 1940″s 1950’s and beyond, Pre  World War I Jews hailing from Russia when they came to this country only bothered with other Jews from the country of their origin, For example Russian Jews did not generally associate with Polish Jews or Hungarian etc  etc and so forth. However this wasn’t the case with their children, in this country 2nd generation Jews had no compunction of associating and marrying Jews of a different country of origin than their parents,

    Russian Jews have different stock than Polish Jews  ,the overall look is not the same . When I was in Florida at  a senior condo area (mostly Jews ) I noticed a distinct look of Jews different from today’s Jews , What I was looking at was Russian Jews, Polish Jews  and such that the  blood line was not broken . Today with a mixture of Russian jews that married Polish Jew in Lets say The 1940’s and 1950’s the new generation looks nothing like their parents visa vie “A Jewish look” Not to mention Intermarriage offspring that identify  themselves  as Jews, Look for  yourself …  Jews in America  today just look at your grand parents & great grand parents photos when they were your age bracket and compare them to yourself and you’ll agree with me..
