there was a $15 entry fee going to charity” Splash” the ribs were brought out tin aluminum foil in brown bags ”Hot from the smoker on premises at the fair ” they were huge ribs perhaps shin bones, I don’t realty know . the meat fell right of the bone all meat was to be eatin. the ribs were judged-and must be clean, it was a timed 3 min event i ate two bags of ribs , beating to field . Kate Murray Hempsteaf Town supervisor handded me the trophy and crown and 2 tickets to Phantom of the opera in Manhatan and $75 free eats at Swingbellys restaurant in Long beach Long Island.N.Y., this was the town of Hempstead at lido beach park not the Village of Hempstead, yes it remained under the radar from the professional eating crowd .As I always say ”A win is a win ” There Will always be my distractiors who will say”who did you beat”’. I could have beat anyone yesterday even Kobayashie or Chestnut.
