The LIPA boars has got to be replaced and any raise in rates ,pension issue be put up on a referendum at the ballot box, Long Island pays among the highest electric rates in the nation.. where is the long Island state senators on this matter ? The governor should step in immediately and stop pscng from any and all raises and rate hikes now

Long Island ratepayers have already gotten 3 raises ,what they are doing is raising the price of delivering the electric , a way of circumventing the law by the not given any raises for five year moratorium, now they want to continue to charge the ratepayer for a loan that was paid off to fund other projects
It s high time that a governor Cuomo rethink the deal with pscng ,which was supposed to be the messiah of electric companies that was to be the deliverer of cheap power that the ratepayers can tolerate , dump pscng now !!

Right now as taxes homeowner taxes are on the rise and utility prices soaring upward..real estate prices take a plunge downward prices are reaching an all time low in the past dozen years ..a house that was lets say on the market for $610,000 is now $380.00 – $440,000 .Eventually people who don’t even have mortgages will merely walk away from their home , rather than pay the taxes. Its just a sad reality and in 20 years maybe 15 years reality will set in /end

Let Me Start Off By Saying Open Up The Canadian-Keystone Xl Pipeline Now. America is hurting both at the pump as you can notice diesel fuel along with home heating oil are still high.
Northerers tell us that Last winter that they had 2 back to back deliveries of heating oil at total cost of $700 for a 5 week period. It’s like a second Mortgage.Just how much can the homeowner take.I know most truckers fill up a few times a week and is hurting them real bad..this is not right..and don’t think for a second that all this doesn’t have a direct overall effect on consumer goods.Don’t let this become a political football…. We at the International Herold believe that our entire economy’ and any and all inflation is oil related..
Lets open up the Canadian pipeline now and end this misery Along with shale oil fraking and off shore oil we can be self sufficient from foreign oil.

The Meat industry is trying to say that drought has caused a shortage. of beef , and it comes-as summer barbecue season which shall soon be upon us, They want to raise the price .. boycott and have them lower the [price instead./end

Government Must Step And Up Re Regulate Cable T .V.
What we need first off is Congress to unblock the airwaves once again and let the public have free viewing to to HBO and such. Cable promised me a deal when I was without service for 2 months after Hurricane Sandy and told me that when the year is up to call the retention dept to re do the deal at the same $150 per month for threaten year . They are not men of their word, first they tole me that there is not retention only a disconnect dept ..a bold face lie !!! I know that they record your telephone conversation for quality control purposes ,and that it is on record that they promised to renew my deal at $150 after a year is up. In closing all I say is that they must be tightly re regulated dance again..end

With The Time Warner Cable Comcast Merger.. pretty soon what we will have is monopoly here in the metropolitan N.Y. Area and the rest of the country is not to far behind it either. Even satellite . Dish Network or FIOS is not far behind in their pricing ..Its a low down dirty shame that even for broadcast T.V. We need a cable box. My cable bill went up from $150 per month to $211 and they say that they are giving me a discount..there is an expression in Yiddish” Don’t Pee On My back And tell me its raining ” In other words don’t Bull Sh–t a Bull Sh–ter. where are the politicians outcry? There is none.Be prepared to be raked over the hot coals once again by cable companies, Good for cable providers sad for the rest of us /end…
