 Every year I go to the N.Y. international Auto show at the Javitis Center ,and never learn my lesson. first off  I go basically to check out new cars without bothering a car dealer when I am not ready to buy as of yet. As I pay for the overpriced admission of $15 I asked for 2 tickets , I give the clerk $40 She gives me the 2 tickets and thanks me , I said hey you still owe me $10 , oh she replies back( tried to rip me of)

A good deal of the cars where on revolving platforms or platforms and were locked up , many cars on the floor were also locked up   , now I “m not talking about a Masorotti  for $500,000 I’m talking $ 20.000 price tag cars ,. why ? that’s what we go there  for. plus i believe since it was the last day of the show certain manufacters may have pulled thier cars out of the show early  so I only stayed  an hour , it was a waste of time and money .. Answer skip it next year

On west 46th Street in Manhattan there is a tiny hamlet of great eateries known as restaurant Row

Unlike Little Italy which is primarily for tourists this street is for the locals and those in the know.

I had Veal cutlet  with the bone in .. outstanding it was huge ..it was long like a filet of flounder. They also have  come to the table with big pans of pasta …3 different kinds that change daily (all the pasta you can eat.I left bloated and contented it was 64th birthday meal from my nephew.Main level and upstairs dinning as well as outdoors, The menu is limited but what they have is 1st rate ! Go  there I highly recommend this block it has a variety of ethnic places  you can’t go have a great meal…and I assure you that you will!

THIS IS DONE BY THE RAIL ROAD IN HICKSVILLE AND FROM NEWBRIDGE ROAD TO CARMAN AVE. IT CREATES A GREAT DRIVING HAZARD TO ALL OF A SUDDEN GO FROM 2 LANES TO ONE . WAS MONEY GIVEN FOR THESE PROJECTS FROM THE STATE ? THESE ROADS MUST BE PUT BACK THE WAY THEY WHERE , ITS A GREAT ROAD HAZARD AND ACCIDENTS WAITING TO HAPPEN /END

 The Latino Immigrant  work force is the hardest workers in America. I say cut them some sort of deal visa  vie immigration and citizenship now. I personally worked in factory and warehouse jobs and I never saw harder workers in my time.  Listen up all you school systems nationwide start dismantling tenure.It is a one way street that only benefits teachers. What we have here is burnt out tired nasty & vastly unqualified teachers.Getting rid of tenure once and  for all is beneficial to our overall educational system..

You’ll see that once tenure is removed we will have better all round teachers & easy to get rid of burnt out nasty  educators once and for all.

The only tenure that I want is a tenure a nice porterhouse  steak or to listen to Pavarotti sing  opera.

            Garlic Should  Be  A Controlled Substance. One should be required to take a written test on cooking and a Control card issued in order to buy garlic at the market.  Those who do not can and will not be sold Garlic. Garlic in the hands of a good cook is Heaven in a bad cook its a living Hell.

 A friend of ours knew a fellow co worker whose wife had a heavy hand when it came to cooking with garlic  his wife should have been barred by law from buying Garlic of any kind anywhere in the U. S. A. He was sent home from work by the boss with the worst breath none to mankind .Even the Union didn’t want to help him get his job back. He was Listerine’s first failure.  People used to wear necklaces of Garlic to fend off Polio and that’s the truth. Not far fetched.

 Many a  food devotee are  fond of that garlic powder, its condensed and has a punch of 5 times of regular Garlic Although we find no fault with fresh garlic if anyone uses that powdered garlic  our recommendation is that they eat in the next room

. Don’t get us wrong I love Garlic laced food but  there is a  limit to whats in in the range of acceptability/.end
