        Do Not Place Any Obituary In the Newspaper, what the banks do is the first thing in the morning is open up to the obituary page of every newspaper in their locality and type it in to their computer to see if an account is listed in an add. IF they spot it, they may freeze the account , even thou it may be  a joint account, sounds crazy? but that’s the reality of the situation.

          This happened to my grandmother she had a joint account  with my late Grandfather ( not in trust for but a joint account),after the family placed an Obituary add in the N. Y.  Times the Bank  froze the account and we had to hire a lawyer to rectify the situation   , Make phone calls to announce the death of a loved one but under no circumstance place an obituary add ever
