The President  should have immediately froze all of BP’s Assets the moment that BP ruined the Gulf. BP announced that they will pay only legitimate claims ( in other words they plan to take it to court) Just like Exxon where they wrote off all fines in taxes from the Exxon Valdez  incident  we must  prepare now that they don’t walk away clean and unscathed from the worlds greatest oil spill. About 20 years ago in  Bhopal India , when the President of Union Carbide came to access the damage they put him under lock and key , thou this tragedy is not of the same caliber , it shows how big industry can get away without any financial responsibility. In any event The U.S. public should boycott Bp starting now.end
