While most of us overindulged with Christmas dinner, Donna Simpson bit off more than most FAMILIES could chew.
Donna, at 46 stone the heaviest woman on Earth, yesterday tucked into the world’s biggest Christmas Dinner. She ate TWO huge turkeys, TWO maple glazed hams, 15 pounds of potatoes and 20 pounds of mixed veg swimming in FOUR PINTS of gravy She found room for a dessert of “Ambrosia Salad” (marshmallow, cream cheese and whipped cream topped with Christmas cookies) adding up to a whopping 30,000 calories and £150.
Donna, 43, who is 5ft 2ins and wears a dress size XXXXXXL, said: “The festive season is a time to eat, drink and be merry. I eat as much as I want, whenever I want but at this time of year I really go all out. Christmas should give you carte blanche to do whatever you want. People who feel guilty about eating are hilarious.”
Donna, a single mum of two, has made a full-time career out of her size with public appearances and websites. She is even trying to GAIN weight to break new records. She already weighs the equivalent of two baby elephants with a 100ins waist, 78ins chest and a 56E bra size. She insists she is healthy, although she needs a mobility scooter to go shopping. Yesterday she sat on a reinforced metal chair and spent TWO hours eating while her three-year-old daughter Jacqueline and son Devin, 14, enjoyed a more modest roast. She said afterwards: “It’s not Christmas if you don’t feel stuffed after lunch.”
Donna, from New Jersey, USA, claims to be frustrated that she can’t eat even MORE as she aims to almost double her weight to 1,000lbs (71 stone) in a bid to smash her current Guinness World Record. She has already gone down in history as the largest woman ever to give birth.
Jacqueline was born when Donna weighed 38 stone in a dangerous delivery that required THIRTY doctors.
She spends up to £500 a week on food and gets through 12,000 calories a day – the healthy recommendation for women is just 2,000. Donna is proud that her blood pressure is “normal” but her doctor has warned that she will die if she continues her quest and she has dangerously high cholesterol levels.
She cannot walk more than 30ft at a time or stand for more than five minutes. She wheezed and appeared out of breath all through our interview.
She said: “Everybody says I’m sick… people stare at me. But I’m a good mum and a good person. Most people have this constant battle with their diet. But my attitude is, enjoy what you eat and don’t worry. It’s fun to overeat and I am proud to say I do.”

5lbs of chopped carrots
5lbs of sweet corn
5lbs of roasted butternut squash

4 pints of house-made gravy
5lbs of herbed stuffing
1 tray of mixed green salad with dressing
Total 30,000 calories
