 As the   saying goes what goes around comes around , I haven’t been treated in competitive eating as well as I’d have wished I should have been , yes I had my share of publicity and the limelight , but I had more of my share of injustices in my time to zero out whatever bones were thrown my way.

I want to let everyone know that thou I received the lifetime achievement award , I fell that my presence in competitve eating is being discounted and I left the sport treated like a piece of crap.

So Iwould like to remind all the eaters how I get treated a major figure in the sport as I exit the ce table will have a direct effect on all of you…and now I’d like to tell you this tale of a farmer his young song and the elderly grandfather who worked a farm. one day the elderly grandfather became to ill to work and the father then tells his son , that on my farm if you don’t work you don’t eat and so put grandpa in the barn to starve to death . as the young son walks the elderly grandpa away the father shouts back , I want him to starve to death but not freeze to death so here’s a blanket to wrap around him so that he may be warm …a few minutes pass and the young son returns with half a blanket the Father says . whats this , the Young son says I ‘m saving half for you someday , Well George will save half a blanket for the Joey Chestnuts when they cease to be as productive as in their prime ..end

        Light Orchid                 The promise was implied that our images would be on the wall of Fame for ever, then we was told that we no longer have any fame, does that formula apply to Babe Ruth or Joe De Magio? or just to us  we paved the road  , set the table for the new eaters, in time they to will be told that they no longer have Fame and will be erased from the wall, how  sad, I gave my blood . my sweat . and my tears  for this contest , only to be  robbed of my 2001 3rd place  trophy..read on

FROM THE    TIME I STARTED PREPARING TO ENTER  AND COMPETE  IN THE NATHANS QUALIFIER , FROM A TIME SPAM OF MARCH 2001  TO JULY 3RD 2001  I ATE NOTHING BUT 5 – 17 HOT DOGS   AND BUNS A DAY AND WOULD PUT DOWN 20 PLUS AT THE END OF THE  WEEK JUST TO SEE  WHAT I CAN  DO , AS MY SOLE MEAL OF THE DAY.
LIKE I SAID JUST 1 MEAL A DAY CONSISTING OF HOT DOGS AND BUNS AND  THEN I WOULD BE DONE EATING FOR THE DAY.  THIS WAS DEDICATION , THIS WAS DETERMINATION , THIS WAS MOTIVATION,. I KNEW THAT I COULDN’T CATCH KAZUTOYO “THE RABBIT” ARAI WITHHIS 26 HOT DOGS  AND BUNS OR THE 2ND PLACE FINISHER MISAO “THE BIG BANANA” FUJITA   WITH HER 24,MY GOAL WAS TO HIT 3RDPLACE,
I WON THE BELMONT QUALIFIER  WITH 17 HDB’S EAR LY ON  IN THE SEASON, I HEARD THAT ERIC BOOKER ATE 26 HDB’S AT THE DUCKS BALL PARK , I HAD MY WORK CUT OUT FOR ME.
DURING THE ACTUAL 4TH OF JULY CONTEST. THE FIRST 8 HOT DOGS I THINK THAT I KEPT UP  WITH KOBAYASHI .LIKE I ALWAYS SAY IN THE FIRST MINUTE OF ANY CONTEST ALL EYES WILL BE ON ME  AS THE FASTEST HANDS IN COMPETITIVE EATING, NOBODY IS CLOSE TO ME IN THE FIRST MINUTE. KOBY WAS FAST HE SURPRISED ME AND EVERYONE . MOST EATERS WERE DISILLUSIONED FROM CONTINUING  WHEN THE ANNOUNCER CALLED OUT THAT KOBY IS UP TO 40 HDB’S AND  THEY EITHER QUIT COLD OR SLOWED DOWN TO A SNAILS PACE AS THEY FELT IT WAS FUTILE TO CONTINUE FOR  NAUGHT. HOWEVER I WAS ONLY TRYING TO CATCH 3RD PLACE SO I PUSHED ON. I WAS IN A ZONE . I REMEMBER MY NEPHEW YELLING FROM THE SIDELINES IN THE CROWD , WHEN KOBY HIT 45 DOGGS TO KEEP GOING , HE’S BOUND TO THROW IT UP . I PERSEVERED  ON.
 AS THE FINAL BELL  SOUNDED  I HIT THE DEUCE ! THE BIG 20 . I FOLLOWED THE JUDGE IN FRONT OF ME WITH HIS TALLY CARDS EVERY STEP OF THE WAY  AS ALL THE EATERS DID. I TOOK THE 20 TALLY CARD  AND HELD IT UP FOR ALL TO SEE, WOW 20 ! THE DUECE.
I KNEW KOBY WON AND ARIA GOT 2ND WITH 31 BUT WHAT ABOUT  BOOKER , WHAT DID HE DO AFTER ALL HE HIT 26 IN The DUCKS FOR AN AMERICAN RECORD . SYLVIA CARTER  A REPORTER WHO DID A STORY ON ME , WAS ON STAGE , I ASKED Her WHAT DID BOOKER DO? SHE SAID 19 1/2. HALLELUJAH I SAID I BEAT BOOKER. NOW I MAKE MY WAY TO CHARLES HARDY. I GO RIGHT OVER TO HIM AND SAY CHARLES , HOW MANY DID Y YOU EAT . HE SHRUGS HIS SHOULDERS AS IF HE DOESN’T KNOW  I THEN WALKED WITH HIM  OFF STAGE  WHERE HIS FAMILY WAS I SAID AGAIN , HOW MANY HE SHRUGED HIS SHOULDER  AGAIN . I SAY TO MYSELF I GOT THIRD! BECAUSE LET ME TELL YOU WHEN  EATING THE DOGS IN THE CONTEST , THERE IS ONE THING THAT EVERY EATER IS CERTAIN  AND THAT’S THE TALLY CARDS IN FRONT OF THEM.
 THE NEXT THING I  SEE IS THE REWARDING THE TROPHY’S AND IT WAS DONE  QUIETLY WITHOUT MUCH FANFARE AND HARDY IS GETTING THE 3RD PLACE TROPHY. I WAS SURPRISED . LATER THAT DAY SEVERAL EATERS  TOLD ME THAT HE PUKED IT UP, RIGHT AFTER THE CONTEST. I AS SOME OTHER EATERS QUESTION WEATHER HE ACTUALLY L HIT THE DEUCE. . I KNEW EXACTLY HOW MANY I ATE . WHY DIDNT HE?
 FOR  AWHILE I WAS GOOD SOLDIER AND SAID I CAN COME BACK NEXT YEAR , BUT AFTER SEEING THE NUMBERS PEOPLE ARE PUTTING UP . I GOT MORE  AN MORE UPSET AS MY CHANCE FOR GLORY HAS GONE .
IF IT WAS A FRENCH FRY CONTEST THAT JUST POPED UP IN LETS SAY A WEEK OR SO I WOULDN’T BE THAT UPSET ,BUT I ATE HOT DOGS FROM MARCH TO JULY EVERYDAY AS MY SOLE MEAL AND IT HURT.

LONDON — Emergency workers who needed to take an obese teenager from her home to a hospital in Wales had to break through a wall of the residence to get her out and into an ambulance, officials said Friday.
The rescue on the second floor of the small house on Thursday used scaffolding as a ramp to lower the woman to the ground level, the local Rhondda Cynon Taf council said.
The unidentified 19-year-old remained hospitalized Friday and her medical condition was not released.
Neighbors said her weight had risen as high as 380 kilos (835 pounds).
The U.K. has one of Europe’s fattest populations: more than 60 percent of adults and one third of children aged 10-11 are overweight or obese, roughly similar to U.S. statistics.

The Middle Class is leaving New York,  New York is Becoming  Like A Third World Nation.. The very Rich and the Poor Only. The high cost of living is chasing away New  York’s middle Class and its future as college graduates seek jobs and homes  outside of New York, even thou the price of  Real Estate sharply drops lower and lower  the future middle class ,its professionalization core and base leave the Metro New York area for parts unknown, to get decent housing at a moderate cost. whats left is the very rich who doesn’t seem to care about the high cost of living  New York and its poor  who have no  choice in the mater and stay as rent control and  and other  forms of  subsidized housing keep them in New York. while  the Middle Class  flees, real estate falls lower making a sort of fire sale price on homes for sale . changing neighborhoods from middle class to lower  income and whats left is  the working poor .end
